PHP Developer

Job Description:We are seeking a talented and motivated software developer to join our team working on a wide variety of projects. As a Developer, you will work on back-end systems and applications using languages such as PHP and frameworks such as Laravel. The successful candidate should have a solid understanding of at least one programming language and database structures and design as well as be willing to learn PHP. While we prioritise candidates with extensive prior development experience, we also welcome applications from individuals with diverse professional backgrounds and skill sets.

Requirements

Familiarity with at least one programming language (PHP preferred)

Understanding of database design and SQL

Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

Experience with Git version control (preferred but not mandatory)

Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Job Responsibilities

Develop new back-end systems and applications under the guidance of senior developers

Maintain and improve existing systems and applications

Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate back-end functionality into web applications

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code

Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner

Optimize application performance and scalability

Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other team members
